We’ve had an amazing experience and went back a few days later! It’s been one of the best Indian meal experiences in years. Service is great, seating is amazing, portion size is great, it’s all very high quality and very generous, including very nice bathrooms and interior design.

Again another fantastic meal, Hyderbadi beef was the best meat dishes I have ever had!

Visit on a regular basis and the House of Spice does great curry. Recommend the Balti or Tawa. Excellent customer service

Found out about this Restaurant & take away by chance on the internet. Food was excellent at a reasonable price with good portions. Impressive place with easy access & plenty of parking space. Would definitely recommend.Edit first couple of meals very good. The next couple of meals disappointing , lacked any flavour

At last a really great Indian meal, fantastic food, wonderful service and great atmosphere. The only downside was the music choice... I would have prefered Indian classical music or old style Bollywood, but its a small detail.
I still highly recommed this small island of culinaire bliss.

Well cooked and prepared Indian food. Not the most inspiring menu I've ever seen and the vegetarian options were somewhat limited. Given its country location, I was surprised that it was slightly more expensive than a central Cambridge place, but the service was great and very friendly, and there was a good atmosphere. Huge portions too.

Hidden gem of a place - the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely great. We ended up going back a second time in 3 nights it was so good. Everyone in our 6-person group loved it.

Great new restaurant in Haslingfield. Food was fantastic. Chilled atmosphere but was pretty busy. A welcoming environment for young families. Best Indian food we have had in a long time.
We shared mixed platter, green Bengal masala (chicken), chicken Rogan josh, garlic naan and pilau rice. Couple of beers too.
We definitely will be taking the kids 🙌

I have ordered a couple of take away's and both have been superb. It is a little off the beaten track but a warm welcome awaits. Car parking is available and waiting times are well within expectations. For anyone eating in, the decor and ambiance is on point. This area is served well with quality Indian / Bangladesh restaurants but this could be a hidden gem. My new goto for now. Just one point lost as the atmosphere would improve if it was a little busier but a deserved 4.8/5

Went to house of spice for the first time on Sunday the curry that I had was the best and good portion size can't wait to go back even though its a bit of a drive from Ely and we'll worth it
